Matt Rogers Biography
Matthew Wyatt Rogers (born September 16, 1979 in Rancho Cucamonga, California) is an American singer, one of the finalists on the third season of the reality/talent-search television series American Idol. Rogers is a native of Rancho Cucamonga, California. He began singing at age 5. In the 2001 Rose Bowl he was an offensive lineman for the winning college football team of the University of Washington. On March 24, 2004, Rogers became the second of the 12 finalists to be voted off the show. Rogers attended Sierra Vista Middle School in Covina, California. Rogers later attended South Hills High School in West Covina, California, where he played football. Rogers is currently the football coach at Mission Viejo High School in Mission Viejo, CA. Baby boy Brayden Douglas was born on April 16th, 2006.
