Mimi & Teft

Mimi Boncato and Chris Hughes have been writing and producing music for artists, TV, and film productions for the past four years. In July of 2006, they decided to form the duo "Mimi & Teft" to explore and release music based on pop foundations with electronic/dance textures. Mimi, native Californian, brings an unusual blend of writing and vocal talents from her Filipino heritage and pop influences. Chris, also a native Californian, brings a unique perspective from his experience with synthesizers, pop music, and audio engineering. Even though both Mimi and Chris have heavy-duty musical training, their sound is edgy and maintains a mass appeal.
