"What happens is, there are a lot of people involved in my actual launch, because its three parties; it's Shady, then you got Aftermath, then you got Interscope, and then you got me on my end." 50 Cent told MTV News on Friday, June 17. "So by the time we got to go sit down with Jimmy [Iovine], we talked a little bit, and then I ended up having to go see Dre, because we had the little issue, the confusion about the Twitter stuff."
After his meeting with Interscope, 50 Cent visited Dr. Dre to clear up any confusion that may have risen when 50 announced the launch of his high-end headphones.
In February, 50 Cent claimed Dr. Dre and Interscope chairman, Iovine, were angered with this business venture for it would rival Dre's headphones, Beats By Dre. "Jimmy iovine and dre mad at me cause i'm doing sleek by 50," 50 tweeted.
After all was talked through, 50 and Dre took advantage of the moment and collaborated with Dr. Dre's for the next single off Dre's "Detox," titled, "The Psycho."
"We sat down, we cleared that up, me and Dre, and then we said, 'Let's just get back to the music and do what we do,'" 50 Cent continued. "Immediately after, we wrote a song together called 'The Psycho'; it's Dre's next single."
On Sunday (June 19), 50 Cent took to Twitter yet again to speak on his forthcoming album. "My headphones and album coming in NOV," 50 tweeted. "Me and Em are going to record for my album soon."
