50 Cent is heading for the pop charts with 'Ayo Technology' as he moves yet further away from his gangsta rap style.
He was in London last month shooting the video for the song, featured on his forthcoming album, Curtis — with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland.
He said: "There's things that are going to be [the video] that you aren't actually seeing while we're shooting it right now. And so after they get it, they'll go in post and start adding effects to it, it'll turn into a whole other thing. But it's exciting."
He said he felt it was time to start moving in a different musical direction but still remaining comfortable with himself and his art.
50 Cent and JT started recording in Miami, but returned to Houston into the studio and said it was like clockwork.
50 said: "Justin had it clear in his head. There was no paper - He just went and delivered his vocals and changed octaves all over the place. It came out great — you can't ask for better."document.write(unescape("
