The 'Candy Shop' rapper – real name Curtis Jackson – says he can never be sure when he might want to go on a spending spree so always makes sure he is packing cash.
He said: "I always carry $25,000, in cash, just in case something happens… I don't know whether I'll have to buy something or not.
"I like to have cash on me because it feels like I have money."
The hip-hop star also revealed he ended his six-year feud with ex-girlfriend Vivica Fox by inviting her to appear in his latest music video for 'Do You Think About Me'.
He told US talk show host Tyra Banks: "I called her and I said, 'You got to stop fighting and be in my video.'
"The song is about when relationships don't work, and when I explained it to her it kind of intensified what the song was about."
