50 Cent has picked up four nominations for this year's Vibe Awards.
The nominations included the newly created category for Best Rapper, where he will be up against Ludacris, Kanye West and his own protege The Game.
However, Ciara is the success story of this year's awards - she has scored five nominations, including Artist Of The Year and the Coolest Collabo category, for her guest spots alongside Ludacris and Bow Wow.
Ciara will compete against 50 Cent, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, and John Legend in the Artist Of The Year category.
The awards will be held on November 12 in Los Angeles.
The magazine's awards ceremony last year was marred by violence when a man punched Dr Dre as the rapper and producer took to the stage.
G-Unit member Young Buck was subsequently arrested for stabbing the assailant. Buck is still awaiting trial.document.write(unescape("
