Overview
Music fans are in for a treat as episode two of Relentless Ultra presents Soundchain hosted by Nick Grimshaw, returns to our screens Friday 17th July at 11pm only on MTV Music.
The second episode will see Nick interview the rap pioneer and hip hop legend 50 Cent and discover what inspired him to pick up the pen, and leave a potential life of crime behind him.
50 Cent on the first house he bought:
"The first house I bought was previously Mike Tyson's home, 50,000 square feet… it's got 37 bathrooms, a nightclub, three full kitchens, three half kitchens, indoor racket ball, sauna… "
50 Cent on his biggest sacrifice:
"My biggest sacrifice was my son… my first son. Success was too much for his mum"
50 Cent thought he was he was on MTV Punk'd when he signed with Eminem:
"I got the phone call Friday night. I was to fly to Los Angeles the next day, and when I met Em… It was so weird that It was like… he was so excited that I was looking at him like… I was looking for cameras like it was MTV Punk'd because he was so excited, he was like "Yo this is it, this is the next big thing. I've been listening; I'm just waiting for my album"
