50 Cent sued for battery

50 Cent is being sued for three counts of assault and battery by two female fans, who claim he assaulted them at a concert in 2004.

The alleged incident took place at a concert in Springfield, Massachusetts, after the rapper was hit by a water bottle thrown from the audience.

The two fans, Donna DeJesus, 25, and Taneka Nesbitt, 27, claim that 50 Cent injured them when he leapt into the crowd to find the culprit.

DeJesus says she was punched in the face by the rapper, while Nesbitt says she was pushed to the ground and suffered a knee injury which later required surgery.

Reported by MTV, the women are asking for $25,000 or more each in the suit.
