The 35-year-old bad boy rapper has announced that he will release a semi-autobiographical novel titled Playground next year.
Written in the first person, the book will tell the tale of a 13-year-old bully who is forced to face the bad things he has done, and 50 admitted that he will be drawing on real-life experiences from his own childhood in Queens, New York.
'I had a strong desire to write Playground because I wanted to explore how a kid becomes a bully,' he said in a statement.
'I drew on events from my own childhood and adolescence, but was excited to see the story take on its own life. This book would have been very helpful for me growing up and now that I have a teenage son, it is my goal that this will have a positive influence on all teenagers.'
