Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and Bruno Mars as well as Cyndi Lauper, LL Cool J and Mama Cass will soon have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced the entertainers and artists who will receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2016.
Anyone can nominate a person for inclusion on the walk but it is up to the selection committee to pick the recipients each year. The new honorees will join over 2,500 others that have been installed on the street since 1960.
Maureen Schultz, Chair of the Walk of Fame Committee, said "The Walk of Fame Selection Committee is excited to announce our newest honorees to the Walk of Fame. After much deliberation, we feel that we have selected a great group of talent for this coveted award. Fans from around the world will be thrilled to hear that their favorite celebrities will be honored on our world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. We look forward to welcoming these great talents to our Walk of Fame family."
