Adele is adding eight more shows to her highly-anticipated UK tour after fans crashed ticket websites on Friday morning (04Dec15) in a stampede for seats.
The singer recently hinted she would not be touring to support her hugely successful new album 25, but later surprised devotees by confirming plans for a trek across Britain and Europe next year (16).
Fan club members were left fuming earlier this week (beg30Nov15) after a technical bungle exposed their personal details to other web users when they were trying to buy early tickets.
General tickets went on sale on Friday and the high demand caused several outlets to crash, prompting Adele to extend her tour by eight dates.
She has added more gigs in cities including Manchester and Birmingham and has also extended her residency at London's O2 Arena from four nights to eight.
The UK and Ireland tour kicks off in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 29 February (16), and wraps on 2 April (16) in Birmingham before heading to Europe, stopping in countries including Sweden, Norway, Germany, Portugal and Spain. The European leg concludes in Antwerp, Belgium on 13 June (16).
While Adele is keen to take her new music on tour, she does worry about her voice holding up. She had surgery on her vocal cords in 2011 and despite making a full recovery, it's knocked her confidence. "When I've sat down and thought, 'What can I do to bring something new to the table?' It was just like, 'Tour.' Because I haven't done it properly," she explained to Rolling Stone.
"If my throat goes, then I'll never be able to do a tour again. I'll be able to get my throat fixed again and do studio work, but do I want to do something and then fail at it and be too scared to ever try it again?"
