Adele and Lily Allen have become "pregnancy buddies".
The two British stars have been friends for some time, but haven't always been in close contact. Lily is expecting her second child with her husband Sam Cooper at the moment, while Adele is pregnant for the first time with her partner Simon Konecki.
The pair have bonded over their new lives.
"Adele and Lily lost contact due to their busy schedules but, lately, they've grown closer again, saying they're pregnancy buddies. Lily's been giving Adele loads of advice," a source told the British edition of Closer magazine.
Lily famously retired from the music industry to concentrate on her family life. Before she fell pregnant, Adele also announced she was taking a break from record making.
The two can't help laughing about their new situations.
"Adele's a homebody – she's been cooking for mates and shopping [for baby clothes]," another friend explained. "She and Lily joke they're not very 'celeb' mothers-to-be and message each other stuff like, 'Ate a whole packet of biscuits. Bet Posh [Spice, Victoria Beckham] didn't do that!'"
