Adele has beat Whitney Houston's long-running US chart record.
The London singer's second album '21' now spends a 21st non-consecutive week atop the Billboard chart.
The stint means that Adele has beaten Whitney Houston's The Bodyguard soundtrack, which claimed 20 weeks at number one back in 1992.
'21' has sold 730,000 copies over the past week following Adele's performance at last weekend's Grammy Awards.
The album beat off competition from the likes of PJ Harvey, Ed Sheeran, Florence And The Machine and Coldplay to be named Best British Album at last night's BRIT Awards in London.
Adele also won the award for Best Female Solo Artist, which last year went to Laura Marling.
