Adele has delighted fans by confirming she will be "singing at the Grammys" next month.
The Someone Like You singer had taken some time out to undergo throat surgery in November.
But the 23-year-old took to her Twitter page today to say she will be at the prestigious music ceremony in Los Angeles on February 12.
"Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys," the British star wrote. "It's been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can't wait, speak soon."
Adele wrote on her blog last month that she was "speechless" to have received her six nominations including song, record and album of the year.
It will be the first time in nearly five months that Adele has performed live after having to cancel a slew of concert dates last year due to ill health.
In an official news release, Adele added that she was a little bit scared about getting back on the stage.
"I'm immensely proud to have been asked to perform at this year's Grammy Awards," she said.
"It's an absolute honour to be included in such a night and for it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-racking, but what a way to get back into it all."
The show will be hosted by rapper turned actor LL Cool J and also feature performances by Kelly Clarkson, Nicki Minaj and Paul McCartney.
