Soul superstar Adele wowed fans in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Monday (29Feb16) as she kicked off her first tour in five years.
The British singer returned to the spotlight late last year (15) after taking some time out to undergo throat surgery in 2011 and then dote on her son Angelo, who was born in October, 2012.
Following the huge success of her comeback album 25, she announced plans for a run of shows in Europe and North America, which sold out in minutes.
She kicked off the Adele Live 2016 trek on Monday as she graced the stage at the SSE Arena Belfast, and she didn't disappoint, thrilling fans with renditions of her hit singles Chasing Pavements, Rolling in the Deep, Someone Like You, and Hello.
Adele, who wore a custom-made black sequined gown by Burberry for the concert, made sure to keep her vocal cords well lubricated by sipping on her favourite beverage, a cup of tea, as she engaged with attendees in between tracks.
Her relaxed show received rave reviews from fans as they flocked to social media to gush about the talented star.
"@Adele you were INCREDIBLE thank you so much for opening your World Tour in #Belfast ! LOVED IT", wrote one devotee, while another added, "@Adele thanks for the best night of my life! You were totally fab (sic) Such an emotional roller coaster!"
