The 23-year-old British singer has been asked to submit a song for the latest instalment of the 007 franchise, and apparently got writing when a chest infection recently forced her to take a week off work.
According to The Sun, she will work with Paul Epworth who has a reputation for co-writing and producing epic tracks, having worked on Plan B's Strickland Banks album and tracks for Florence And The Machine, as well as Cee Lo Green.
A source said, 'Adele is the obvious choice to record the next Bond theme. The last few songs for the spy movies have hardly set the charts alight. After her success this year filmmakers know the song is almost guaranteed to be a huge hit.'
