Artists such as Amy Winehouse, Jessie J, Leona Lewis and Katie Melua all started out there over the years since it opened in 1991.
Some of its former pupils have been paying tribute to the school that helped launch their careers.
Adele said: 'I hate to think where I'd have ended up if I hadn't gone to the Brit School.
'It's inspiring to be around 700 kids who want to be something, rather than 700 who just want to get pregnancy so they get their own flat. I remember wanting to go to Sylvia Young Theatre School because Baby Spice went there but my mum couldn't afford it.
'But I loved the Brit School. It was a bit like Fame sometimes - you got people doing their ballet stretches and singers having sing-offs.'
