Adele: Lohan is a fitting fan

The 22-year-old British singer is currently promoting her second studio album, 21, and she counts some A-list stars among her biggest fans.

Earlier this week Hollywood actress Lindsay wrote on Twitter the record’s track Rumour Has It was one of her favourites, saying it has “such a good vibe to it”.

Adele was happy to hear of the praise, and thinks Lindsay’s song choice is appropriate due to the constant speculation about the star’s lifestyle.

“I hear she likes Rumour Has It, which is fitting,” mused Adele. “I’ve heard she’s a lovely girl.”

The songstress has her own official Twitter page, although she admits she isn’t the one who writes on it. The star says that when she was working on the album she didn’t want to write updates as her life was boring, and now that she’s travelling the globe promoting the record she isn’t keen to use the social-networking site to brag about her achievements.

“I didn’t wanna be like, ‘I’m on the toilet having my morning… dump!’” laughed the singer in an interview on BBC Radio. “I didn’t wanna get it because I’ve got something to promote... mugging off my fans.”
