Adele has revealed that her new album shows a more cheekier side to the singer.
The follow-up to 2008's '19', entitled '21', is set for release January 24.
The album, recorded with legendary producers Rick Rubin and Paul Epworth, showcases a "more upbeat, more cheeky, more sarcastic" side, Adele said to BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat.
She added: "I think with my first record everyone thought I was really serious but I'm not," she says. It's about the same things but about a different guy.''
"I'm more grow-up about things now. I'm less bitter about things. I do think that's because I'm a bit older. I mean, I'm not a proper adult yet, I'm still only 21.''
Lead single 'Rolling In The Deep' is released on January 16.
