Adele is recovering well after her recent throat surgery as she becomes the first person to pass one million iTunes sales in Europe.
The London singer underwent surgery earlier this month after suffering a vocal cord haemorrhage which threatened to end her career.
In a blog to fans, Adele reassured them that she was 'relaxed and well' after surgery: '"I'm doing really well, on the mend, super happy, relaxed and very positive with it all.
"The operation was a success and I'm just chilling out now until I get the all-clear from my doctors.
"Thank you to everyone who voted for the awards I've won recently.
"I best get back to practising my mime show."
Whilst out of the spotlight Adele has broken Apple's European download record with her album '21', reports the Telegraph.
''This is a positive news for the music industry and Apple’s iTunes has done a great job of helping to sell digital albums,' said music analyst Mark Mulligan.
