Adele has been forced to cancel dates on her forthcoming UK tour, due to illness.
The London singer was due to perform at Plymouth Pavilions tonight (September 4) and at Bournemouth International Centre tomorrow (September 5).
A statement on the singer's website read: "It is with regret that due to a severe cold and chest infection, Adele has had to postpone the first two shows of her UK tour in Plymouth on Sunday September 4 and Bournemouth on Monday September 5 2011.
"The shows will be rescheduled at the earliest opportunity and all original tickets will remain valid. Refunds will be available from the point of purchase.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to seeing you all at the rescheduled shows."
Adele cancelled the remaining dates of her US tour earlier this year after contracting laryngitis.
Meanwhile, Adele, Tinie Tempah and Elbow will perform at this year's Mercury Prize ceremony, it has been announced.
