Adele is set to formally appear for the first time since becoming a mother at the Golden Globe Awards this weekend.
The British singer and her partner Simon Konecki welcomed their son into the world in October last year and since then she has retreated from the limelight.
Fox News reports that the Grammy Award-winning crooner will in fact be in attendance at the affair to support her James Bond theme song Skyfall, which is nominated in the Best Original Song category.
The crooner faces stiff competition as fellow nominees include Taylor Swift and The Civil Wars' Safe & Sound track for The Hunger Games soundtrack.
Having previously said she was planning some time off to focus on her relationship and baby, it now seems Adele has the singing bug again as the star is apparently working on a new album.
The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel this Sunday.
