Adele could make her comeback at next month's Grammy Awards in LA, it has been reported.
The London singer is nominated for a total of six awards on the night and is believed to have made a full recovery following throat surgery last year.
A source told RadarOnline: 'Adele will be at the Grammys in Los Angeles on February 12 at the Staples Center.
'She's thrilled to be nominated, but it's been a hard time for her because of the surgery. She has begun talking more, with her doctor's permission. .Adele's best friend in recent weeks has been warm compresses around her neck to help the healing process of her vocal chords.
'Producers of the Grammys would love to have Adele perform, and open the show, but she isn't able to give them an answer yet. She won't be able to give them an answer until the beginning of February, and they completely understand.'
Nominees for the prestigious Album Of The Year award include Adele's '21', Bruno Mars' 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans', Foo Fightes for 'Wasting Light', Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' and Rihanna's 'Loud'.
Kanye West has received has been nominated in seven categories; four for his solo work and three as part of his collaboration with Jay-Z on 'Watch The Throne'.
Bon Iver, Nicki Minaj and Skrillex have been nominated for Best New Artist Of The Year.
Elsewhere, Mumford & Sons receive four nominations including general field nominations for 'The Cave' in the 'Record Of The Year' and 'Song Of The Year' categories.
Radiohead and Rihanna are each nominated in four categories, while Coldplay, Minaj and Lady GaGa have each secured three nominations.
The 54th Grammy Awards will be held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on February 12, 2012
