British singer Adele will perform on TV for the first time in more than two years during an hour-long special titled Adele at the BBC.
The Hello singer will belt out a range of old songs and tracks from her upcoming album 25 with a live band during the programme, which will also feature an interview with UK talk show host Graham Norton about her life and career so far.
"I can't wait for the show," Adele said in a statement. "The BBC has been wonderful to me over the years and Graham and I get on great so it's going to be a laugh."
The programme, which is slated for broadcast in November (15), is set to be her "first television performance" since she sang her James Bond theme Skyfall at the Oscars in 2013, where she won Best Original Song.
Adele has reportedly lined up more shows to mark her comeback. She is set to tape a low-key gig at New York's Radio City Music Hall on 17 November (15) ahead of a performance on US comedy show Saturday Night Live on 21 November (15).
Adele has been busy promoting new single Hello, which has already smashed the Vevo record to become the video with the most views in a 24-hour period. It's an emotional song about the past and the star recently opened up about her inspiration for the track.
"A lot of stuff in my life has changed and not at all because of my career, but just because stuff changes as you get older, and I found myself yearning for my past for no reason specifically other than it had gone," she said during an interview on BBC Radio 1's Breakfast Show. "I missed elements of it, I didn't want to be back there... it's not about an ex love relationship, it's about my relationships with everyone that I love. I miss a lot of those people, it's not that we've fallen out or anything it's just that we've all got our own lives going on... I needed to write that song so they would all hear it."
