Adele has had enough. After delivering the biggest selling album of the year and cleaning up at the Grammy Awards, Adele has announced she is taking four years off.
"I am f***ing off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail," she told Vogue magazine.
Adele says she is sick of her relationships going nowhere and she just wants to get one right. "So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy. And then I don't know what I'll do. Get married. Have some kids. Plant a nice vegetable patch," she said.
Adele is currently seeing Simon Konecki, the guy in the beard sitting next to her at the Grammy Awards if you saw the show. He is a charity worker.
The relationship is serious. "He's wonderful. And he's proud of me, but he don't care about what I do or what other people think," she says.
Adele became ill last year and had throat surgery for a hemorrhaged vocal chord. She took home every award she was nominated for including Record of the Year and Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Short Form Music Video.
