Adele can reportedly "see the benefits of bringing up a child in the US."
The 24-year-old British singer shares four-month-old son with her partner Simon Konecki.
Adele has achieved exponential success in Hollywood, winning an Academy Award this year amongst a host of other trophies during the Awards Season.
Although she has a lovely home in the English countryside, Los Angeles is looking more and more appealing to the star.
"Adele can see the benefits of bringing up a child in the US," a source told UK newspaper The Mirror.
"They can be outside, enjoying the weather and loving life out of the spotlight.
"Adele and her man Simon are looking at a pad in one of the exclusive gated communities of Beverly Hills because Robbie [Williams and his wife] Ayda have told Adele that she would be able to have enough land not to feel too trapped and she could have the privacy she so desperately needs to enjoy life."
Apparently Adele is looking for more than a hideaway.
She would like to work, live and play in her new abode.
"Los Angeles is a great place for children to grow up and she intends on working a lot more with a new album," the insider explained.
"She could afford to put a studio in her house. That way she could beaver away on new music without having to worry."
It is said that Adele is planning to live in Los Angeles during the winter and reside in England during the summer.
Her net worth is an estimated £20 million and she feels free from hardship.
"She knows she's extremely comfortable with money and her lifestyle is very chilled and stress free," the source said.
"Her personal life very much comes first right now."
