Adele is speaking again following her recent throat surgery using a Stephen Hawking-style voice on her smartphone, it has been reported.
The London singer underwent surgery earlier this month after suffering a vocal cord haemorrhage which threatened to end her career.
A source told The Sun: "She's been using the speaking app to buy coffee at Starbucks and to order cabs.
"It is far easier to communicate using it rather than writing everything down on paper and showing people."
Adele reassured fans that she was on the mend, posting on her blog: "I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever."
Adele has previously spoken about how much she enjoyed smoking and has even admitted that she'd sooner give up singing then stop smoking.
