The £25million show - in which contestants are rated solely on their voice - featured Christina Aguilera as a mentor in the US version and TV execs are said to be desperate to get Adele signed up for when the show hits the UK next year.
A source told The Mirror, 'Adele's success is all down to her incredible voice and, in this way, embodies all that The Voice represents.
'She is honest, funny and loved by millions of people of all ages. She really has The Voice that can sell albums around the world so she knows what to look for.'
Cheryl Cole is also reportedly in the running for a slot after she was dropped from the US X Factor.
'Her (Adele's) style and look is also very different to that of Cheryl Cole, so if we could get them both on board it would be fantastic,' added the show insider.
