Adele has revealed in her forthcoming biography that she was 'ready to murder' while she was recording her hit album ‘21’.
Adele stated she was 'furious' when recording the BRIT Award winning album after splitting with her boyfriend. The split inspired most of the tracks on her latest album including ‘Rolling In The Deep’ which is her favourite example of how she turned rage into hits.
The Independent report from her forthcoming book that Adele credits her producer Paul Epworth for helping her to concentrate her rage into making chart topping tracks. "I never get angry, but I was ready to murder. I went in crying and stuff, and said, 'Let's write a ballad.' And he was like, 'Absolutely not! I want to write a fierce tune.'" She then added "When I'm about to get angry in my heart, I can really feel my blood flowing around my body... And I kept going, 'Feel my heartbeat Paul!' And the beat of the song was my heartbeat... It just built and built."
The biography titled ‘Someone Like Adele’ is written by Caroline Sanderson and published by Omnibus.
