Adele is reportedly worried people will assume she and her boyfriend are unhappy by listening to her new album.
The 27-year-old singer is currently gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated third album, 25, due out in November (15). It marks her first new material since 2011's 21 and the record's debut single Hello has already gone down a storm with fans. Listeners were quick to assume it alluded to a former love, but she has since confirmed it's about relationships with everyone she loves and people she misses. She's said to hope it isn't viewed as a sign her current relationship with Simon Konecki is on the rocks.
"Adele wants to draw a line under the past," the source told Britain's Closer magazine. "She doesn't want people to think she and Simon aren't happy. She's in a great place, but she says drawing on painful memories from her past inspires her song writing."
There were reports Adele and Simon had called quits on their union at the end of 2014, but they put rumours to rest when looking loved up at Glastonbury this summer (15). The couple are thought to have started dating in 2011 and Adele gave birth to their son Angelo in October 2012. It apparently threw them off guard, but the brunette beauty insists things have never been better between them.
"Adele's told friends they've had a few bumps," the source added. "She fell pregnant with Angelo less than a year into their relationship, but she's said family life bonded them. She's a perfectionist with her music and built a studio in her Brighton home. She's also recorded in the US, but doesn't like to be away from Angelo. She says Simon is amazing."
With 25's release getting closer and closer, the singer has admitted she feels nervous. Earlier in October (15) she even revealed she had penned a whole album about motherhood before scrapping it, as she thought it was too boring.
