Akon hold Gorillaz at No.2

Akon have held on to the Number One spot for the second week in the UK singles chart.

Dance anthem 'Lonely' retains the top spot after fighting off competition from Gorillaz, The Game, The Coral and Kelly Osbourne.

Gorillaz' 'Feel Good Inc' climbs 18 places to Number Two following its physical release, having charted five weeks ago on the strength of its download sales in the combined chart.

Outside the Ten, Doves are new at 17 with 'Snowden', The Futureheads re-release of 'Decent Days and Nights' charts at 27, while Hollywood actress Juliette Lewis scores her first chart entry with The Licks as 'You're Speaking My Language' enters at 35.

On the album chart, 'X-Factor' winner Steve Brookstein is new at number one with his debut 'Heart and Soul'.
