Overview
AKON has said that he would really like to perform at Glastonbury this summer.
The Ammerican R&B star said he could outshine rapper Jay-Z, who headlined the festival last year.
He said: "I would love to do Glastonbury. I could put on a show to rival Jay-Z.
"I've been there before - but not as a performer. I love festivals."
Bruce Springsteen, Blur and Neil Young have already been confirmed as this year's Glastonbury bill-toppers.
Meanwhile, Akon recently made headlines after confirming that he will be working on Alexandra Burke's debut album later this year.
