'Sound & Color' – the massively anticipated follow-up to Alabama Shakes' UK Top Three charting, three time Grammy nominated debut album 'Boys & Girls' - will be released on 20th April by Rough Trade Records.

ATO Records will release the album in North America on 21st April. The album was recorded at Nashville's Sound Emporium studio and was co-produced by the band and Blake Mills—a young guitar wizard who has played alongside Lana Del Ray.
Alabama Shakes will play the following dates later this year, which will include a sold out headline slot at The Great Escape Festival and a headline slot at Brixton Academy – their biggest UK show to date. There will be a pre-sale for the dates this Weds 25th March at 10am GMT on the band's website www.alabamashakes.com followed by general sale this Friday 27th at 10am GMT.
