Alabama Shakes : We only came for the 'Boss'

Absolute Radio's Sarah Champion spoke to US rockers Alabama Shakes backstage in the Hard Rock VIP area at Hard Rock Calling before they took to the stage at the Olympic Park.

Lead singer Brittany Howard also told Sarah about her love of Bruce 'The Boss' Springsteen'. "He's the only reason we came! He's got enough material for each of the artists on the bill to cover his songs and have an hour long set each. We LOVE Bruce"

Brittany was clearly enjoying the Hard Rock VIP treatment and said it was a welcome change from Glastonbury. "We've just come over from Glastonbury. We got lost, the toilet situation wasn't great but of course we had a blast. We saw the Rolling Stones. They sounded amazing. They still got it"
