The 33-year-old Girl on Fire welcomed her second child with husband Swizz Beatz on Saturday.
And the couple are elated with their new arrival.
"The joy of joy is joy!! It's a boy!!???? we are so grateful!! #blessings!!" Alicia wrote in a caption attached to the newborn's birth certificate on her Instagram account Sunday.
The document she shared online shows that the name of her and Swizz's new little boy is Genesis Ali Dean. He was born at 1:52am on December 27, arriving into the world at a healthy 6lbs 5oz.
Alicia and Swizz already share four-year-old son Egypt together.
The songstress has previously gushed over how excited Egypt is about becoming an older sibling.
"Are you kidding?" the singer laughed to E! News when asked if her eldest was ready to be a big brother. "He's not going to be the baby anymore. He's ready!"
Swizz added Egypt is "already preparing" to welcome a sibling by experimenting with a doll. Apparently the tot utilised the toy to help him discover what not to do while caring for his little brother.
"He's like, 'Am I supposed to be doing this? Am I supposed to be doing that?' He's so ready. It's a blessing," the hip-hop artist raved.
Alicia and Swizz, 36, tied the knot in 2010 on the French island of Corsica.
Producer Swizz is father to three other children from previous relationships in addition to the two he shares with Alicia.
