Alyssa Milano is a class act who served up some polite smack after comedian Jay Mohr fat-shamed her after seeing her at a NASCAR event, the NY Daily News reported Dec. 31.
Mohr suggested in an alleged radio interview that Milano appeared to be heavy to Mohr, especially in the stomach area. Mohr also said Alyssa had let herself go after having a baby in 2011.
"She's very tiny, in height," said Mohr. "It seems like she had a baby and said, ‘I don't really give a s--t.' I read it on her gut. Somebody sat in the director's chair and was not wearing Spanx and I was like, ‘Jesus Christ.'"
Milano tweeted, "So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me. Be well and God bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife [Nikki Cox]."
Why Mohr, a reportedly good Catholic husband and father, felt the need to say anything that hurtful, even in jest as he claims, is beyond us. He used Twitter to apologize. We say go to confession, and repent:
