Anna Kendrick in talks to star opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in movie End of Watch

According to Variety, Kendrick and Natalie Martinez are both negotiating roles in the new movie, which is being written and directed by David Ayer.

The movie follows two LAPD officers and their partnership as they confront marriage as well as love and fatherhood.

It's claimed Kendrick and Martinez will play the roles of the two officers' love interests.

Kendrick is best known for her role in the Twilight movies and will also soon be seen starring with Joseph Gordon Levitt and Seth Rogen in 50/50.

Martinez was last seen in the ABC show Detroit 1-8-7.
