The American Twilight actress is thrilled with her role in the video for Pow Pow, which will see her playing an everyday girl surrounded by security men.
Writer David Ayer, who penned Training Day, is directing the short film, and Anna admitted that despite being a “pretty lame dancer” she couldn’t help but move along to the catchy song.
"I didn't have their new album," Ana confessed to MTV. "But this song is really cool too. The first time [I heard it], I was expecting straight-up melody or something. ... I can hear it every time we do a take, in my head. I'm kind of grooving. I can't help but groove to this song."
The 25-year-old brunette, who starred in Up in the Air, explained she was approached by the director himself to play the role, in what is a departure from her usual big screen film parts.
Despite being new to music promos, Anna couldn’t wait to get started. She liked the idea of playing a quiet girl with an emotional undercurrent, explaining she thought it would be challenging.
"It sort of came out of nowhere," she said of getting the job. "David came up with this idea and asked me to do it. I've never done anything like this at all, so I was really excited about it. It's been really fun."
