Overview
Cowell reportedly criticised the Rocket Man singer for saying that reality shows such as the X Factor are ruining the music industry. The 52-year-old music mogul also called Sir Elton “greedy” for earning large sums of money for private gigs.
Speaking at the Women Of The World festival, Lennox said Cowell’s comments were “ridiculous”.
She told UK newspaper, the Sunday Mirror: 'Elton John's foundation is the third top HIV/Aids organisation in the world. It's ridiculous what was said.
'He [Cowell] obviously has no idea what Elton really does – none.'
