British songbird Antony Hegarty covers 'Imagine' on an EP that will sneak out before the new Antony And The Johnsons album.
The five-track EP will be called Thank You For Your Love and hit stores on August 24 in the US and August 30 in Europe.
It will feature three new songs as well as an avant garde attempt at John Lennon's 'Imagine' with ambient composer William Basinski, and an obscure 1980 Bob Dylan cut 'Pressing On'.
This is all before a brand new Antony and the Johnsons full length called Swanlights emerges in Europe through Rough Trade on October 11 and in the US through Secretly Canadian on October 12.
The title track of the EP will feature on the album, as well as a duet with Bjork called 'Flétta'.
There will also be an extra special edition of the CD featuring a 144-page hard cover book full of Antony's paintings, collages, photography and writing.
