Electronica-freak Aphex Twin says he has almost completed six new albums.
In an interview with Another Man magazine, Richard D James, better known as oddball electro composer Aphex Twin, has six albums that he has recorded over the last four years.
In 2006 he released a singles compilation called Chosen Lord but it has been nine years since he released the studio album Drugqs.
He told Another Man that he completed two 'very non-commercial, abstract, modular-synthesis, field recordings' four years ago.
He indicated that he finished an album called Melodies From Mars three years ago.
Then there's one 'of stuff I won't go into', plus a compilation of old tracks that are constantly evolving, and one he's currently working on.
For a nine-year hiatus from releasing albums, he's been working very hard.
So far there is no word on when, or how, any of these recordings will be released.
