Arcade Fire will be honoured at this year's Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Awards in London.
The band will receive the Hard Rock Ambassadors of Rock Award 2011 at the ceremony, which takes place at the London Hilton on Park Lane on July 1.
David Munns, chairman of Nordoff Robbins, said: "Their musicianship is exceptional and their live shows phenomenal, and with their commitment to supporting various charities worldwide makes them a true example of what it means to be an 'ambassador of rock'.''
Other winners include Biffy Clyro, who are set to be named Best British Band along with Annie Lennox, Tinie Tempah and Status Quo.
