Arcade Fire have announced plans to play their first ever live shows in Australia, to coincide with their appearance on the Big Day Out.
The Canadian rock heroes are set to conclude a triumphant 12 months since returning with their new album "Neon Bible" on a tour Down Under.
The band have so far announced a pair of shows, in Sydney and Melbourne, which have been squeezed into the cross-country Big Day Out schedule.
