Aretha Franklin has been discharged from hospital after undergoing surgery.
The soul singer was treated for an undisclosed illness, although unconfirmed reports have claimed she was suffering from pancreatic cancer.
"I've been at home for almost three days now," she said in a statement. "My family and friends who brought me home are taking great care of me."
Last month, the singer axed all gigs for the next six months under the orders of her doctors, but said she was "anxious" to get back on the road.
Franklin’s cancelled gigs include a planned Christmas gig in Detroit.
In August, the singer, whose hits include 'Say A Little Prayer', broke two ribs during a fall.
