'Arrested Development' Season Four Gets Premiere Date

"Arrested Development" fans should mark Sunday, May 26, in their calendars. That's the day Bluth-approved wackiness continues, when the fourth season of the series hits Netflix.

All 15 episodes will premiere at once at 12:01 a.m. PT. And show creator Mitch Hurwitz opened up about the highly anticipated debut in a statement on Vulture, saying, "My simple wish for the show is coming true: that it be broadcast every second around the clock to every television, computer or mobile device in existence."

In addition to bringing the entire Bluth clan back together for the new season, the show has also enlisted the help of a myriad of A-listers to help bring the series back to life, including Ben Stiller (who will return as magician Tony Wonder), Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Conan O'Brien, Isla Fisher, and John Slattery.

It was also recently revealed that narrator Ron Howard and co-producer Brian Grazer will appear on the series. "One of the very last lines in the show was when [I say in voice-over], 'I don't think ['Arrested Development'] is a TV show; maybe it's a movie," Howard shared last month. "So in the new season, we create a heightened version of Imagine Entertainment."

Last August, Howard gave MTV News some details about getting the show off the ground again. "[Show creator] Mitch [Hurwitz] isn't trying to re-create something," Howard said. "It's been away for a while, and part of the fun that Mitch has been mining and exploiting is, what's new to discover about these people? What's delightfully unchanged? He and the writing staff and the actors have a fantastic sense of that. They're pretty brazen, pretty bold and fearless. That's what made the show into something that fans really kept alive."

Plans for a movie are also still in the works. The cast and crew confirmed the possible flick during a panel at SXSW Film Festival in March. "I'm confident that we will succeed at that," Hurwitz said, adding, "There is a bigger story out there that does exist."
