Ashlee Simpson is selling her Hollywood home

The 25-year-old singer-and-actress has put the $4 million villa she bought before she married rocker Pete Wentz in 2008 up for sale – because she doesn't think the five bedrooms will be enough for her expanding brood.

Ashlee – who already has a 15-month-old son Bronx Mowgli with the musician - said: "We'd love to have more kids. I love being a mother. We're together all the time."

Speaking about his desire to extend their family, Pete, 30, said: "Everything is awesome about being a dad. Eventually we want to be able to have our own soccer team!"

The Mediterranean-style mansion has an open plan kitchen, an upstairs master bedroom suite with matching his-and-her closets, a fitness room and a media room leading outside to the swimming pool and spa.

Estate agents Sotheby's International Realty described the home as "ideal for discerning clients with stunning views of hills and canyon".
