BADLY DRAWN BOY aka Damon Gough, releases his new single 'A Journey from A to B' on February 26th 2007 on EMI Records. The single, taken from his latest album, "Born In The UK" from October last year, will coincide with a full UK tour and will include three gigs in the UK's finest chip shops!
'Journey From A To B', released on two coloured 7"s, cd and available to download at the usual sites. Formats feature remixes from The Go! Team and Black Eyes plus a cover of The The's 'This Is The Day'. There will also be a live version of 'Journey From A To B' which will be recorded from his forthcoming gig in Bristol at Magnet's chip shop on February the 17th and available to download on the following Monday the 19th.
After a nationwide search and a shortlist of ten chip shops, BADLY DRAWN BOY fans have voted for their favourite chippy and over the next month Gough and his band will play gigs in the winning chippy, Bristol's Magnet on February 17th and the two runners up, London's Toffs on February 15th and Grimsby's Smiths on February 21st. Tickets are very limited and available on a first come first served basis by texting the number that appears on adverts in this week's NME, Q, Time Out and Mojo and at www.badlydrawnboy.co.uk
Gough will be joined on all dates with his live band; Alex Thomas, Drums, Sean McCann, Bass, Cameron Miller, Guitar and Steve McGuire, Guitar/Keyboards.
